The year is 1838 and the English merchant vessel, Beatrice, set sail from the port Malta in Autumn headed to the port of Liverpool. This vessel was carrying a cargo of valuable treasures and artifacts to the British Museum including the Sarcophagus of the Fourth Dynasty Pharaoh Menkaure. While in route to the British Museum the vessel vanished and with it disappeared the valuable treasures and artifacts. |
